Check out the PAGLA website! www.pagla.org  The new Board of Directors for PAGLA has been working very hard to provide better communication, news, all type of information and new ideas to all of the members of PAGLA.

The Philadelphia Area Girls Lacrosse Association is league whose members are TOWNSHIP RECREATION PROGRAM CLUBS/TEAMS.  It is not a league for school teams or travel teams that accept or hold tryouts for players from all-over   - Players whose residence lies within the school district or township boundaries of the local Lacrosse Club must play for that organization. Recruiting of players from other districts, townships or clubs is prohibited.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE AS A MEMBER:
PAGLA's new board in 2012 has taken a lot of steps to increase the programs and services that you receive for your membership dues.  In addition to our new and improved website - which will be used for communication, central scheduling (each region will continue to schedule but will be able to use the League Athletic Website for team scheduling if they choose and, in the future, officials scheduling), FIELD LOCATIONS and DIRECTIONS, timely and pertinent news on PAGLA events, PAGLA PLAY DAY OFFICIAL SITE with online registration....the Board wants to offer Youth Official/Referee Training at no cost to our member clubs, possibly coaches training, scholarship opportunities and many other worthwhile programs.  In fact, we welcome new suggestions - a link to submit your suggestions will be found on the home page.  More programs and/or services will continue to be added.

Limerick Lacrosse will now have teams for 1st and 2nd grade girls. These will be developmental teams. Practices will be clinic style - teaching players basic skills.

We will also play games against other TCLL programs that have 1st-2nd grade teams.

Teams will practice once per week.

Games can be weekdays and/or weekends.

1st and 2nd grade teams are not included in the Play Days.

Spring 2013 Season will begin in March and ends with PAGLA PlayDay on June 2nd.

• 3rd and 4th grade practices once per week with an optional second practice.
• 5th and 6th grade practices twice per week.
• 7th and 8th grade practices once per week.
  
  Practices will be in Limerick or Royersford.
  
  Games will be on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Home games will be played at the Limerick.
• Away games will be at neighborhing schools.

 

Limerick Lacrosse is a member of the TCLL (Tri-County Lacrosse League).
